What does a heated towel rail valve do?

Heated towel rail valves are used to connect your radiator to your plumbing, whilst giving you the ability to adjust how much heat you would like by using the twisted head on the end of the valve.

Seeing as your heated towel rail is joined up with other radiators in your house via your central HVAC , if you don’t need your towel rail heated at any point you can turn it off by using the valve. This gives you flexibility and choice whether you’d want your bathroom heated, just your towels warmed up or to use simply use as a stylish rail to display your towels when heat is not needed.
